I am really looking forward to being Seniors Captain in 2010. I hope that we
can have a good year of competitive golf but played in the spirit of fun
that makes Seniors golf, and particularly Clevedon Seniors golf, so
enjoyable.
We have a full fixture list of matches, and I hope we have lots of entries to play. We also have a full programme of Competitions organised and since all are drawn they provide lots of opportunity to meet, and play golf, with your fellow Seniors.
Seniors Ladies Night is on Friday 26th. March. this is always popular so watch the Notice Board for details and book early.
Our Seniors Away Day is on Wednesday 19th. May and this year we visit Raglan Parc which is a relatively flat but challenging golf course for all handicaps.
Now that our fixtures and competition dates are finalised I will be arranging an overnight trip. Negotiations are ongoing with several venues to get the best value. I will be trying my best to arrange this so as not to clash with any competition. Keep your eye on the Notice Board for details of this and other events which may organised.
