Clevedon Golf Club, North Somerset, England
Seniors Captain 2018
Reg Wiles

"This is a special year for the Senior Section as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. The ‘captain’s overnighter’ (18th and 19th June) and ‘Captain’ away day’" (14th May) will be held as normal.

However, the Captain’s day (17th July) will be a special day and a celebration of Seniors golf at Clevedon golf club over the 50 years of its existence.

I hope to get as many Seniors playing on the day as possible and there will be a golf exhibition afterwards by Paul Barrington."

Clevedon Golf Club is fortunate to have a very active Senior Section, open to both existing and new male playing members aged 55 and over.  We are a friendly group - we enjoy our golf and each others’ company in equal measure.

The Seniors run some informal roll-ups on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and also organise a year-round diary of competitions played on an individual or team basis.

2018/ 9 Season agenda is as follows:

Seniors Diary diary
Seniors Matches matches

During the summer months we have a very full fixture list of friendly inter-club matches, which provide excellent opportunities to make new friends and to visit other courses.  We aim to give everyone a fair share of games.

There is also our very special Ladies Night, the occasional luncheons with guest speakers, and the lively Christmas Party in December.

You are very welcome to join us and we will do our best to make you feel at home.  I look forward to seeing you on the course or in the Clubhouse.
