CLEVEDON GOLF CLUB – REPORT
INVITATIONAL SUCCESS
Sunshine and intermittent showers greeted competitors in Clevedon Ladies Invitation Day who had travelled from both local clubs and clubs as far afield as Saffron Waldon in Essex and Bigbury in South Devon.
The first group out, Alison Leatt and Jo Hobbs from Long Ashton set a fine pace scoring 25 points after nine holes. Their good form continued, especially on the putting greens and they finished well ahead at the top of the leader board with 49 points.
RESULTS:
1st Alison leatt and Jo Hobbs (Long Ashton) 49 points
2nd Susanne Liddeatt and Maggie Parker (Mendip Spring) 46 points
3rd Pat Rose and Suzil Hares (Mendip Spring) 45 points
4th Jill Middleton and Jenny King (Taunton Vale) 43 points
